Lights have played roles from as daily necessities to enhance efficiency and to maximize use of a space to as a sensitivity booster. Color Temperature: “Correlated Color Temperature (CCT)”: Correlated Color Temperature (CCT)) is a metric that relates the appearance of a light source to the appearance of a theoretical black body heated to high temperatures. There are eight nominal CCT categories in the ANSI binning standard: 2,700K, 3,000K, 3,500K, 4,000K, 4,500K, 5,000K, 5,700K, and 6,500 K. At a temperature of 2,000K, it is a very orange-yellow color. As the temperature increases, the color shifts to yellow, yellowish white, white and then a bluish white. Each application field requires different CCT. So does each person. For example, aquarium lighting needs to appear deep blue to make blue tints of water strong and vibrant, while m

High Fidelity and Full Color Gamut: TM-30-15 is a new method for measuring color rendition, trying to supplant CRI. It comprises three primary components: ·          Rf- a fidelity index that is similar to the commonly used CRI ·          Rg- a gamut index that provides information about saturation ·          Color vector graphic- a graphical representation of hue and saturation relative to a reference source There are two main differences between TM-30-15 and CRI. One is that CRI provides information about fidelity, but does not provide any information on saturation while TM-30-15 uses the Gamut Index (Rg) to describe differences in saturation. The other is that whereas CRI uses only eight color

High CRI: Color Rendering Index (CRI) is a measure that indicates how colors will be accurately represented under an artificial light source compared with color reproduction in natural daylight. It is measured on a scale from 0 to 100. CRI (unit: Ra) number is calculated only by taking average of R1-R8 values and it does not include special colors R9-R15 values. However, it is necessary to increase the average of R9-R15 to have better color rendering properties of an artificial light source. It is particularly more critical to raise the values of R9, R12, R13 but it is not easy to increase them. The “red” test color R9 plays a significant role in medical lighting, because it must distinguish the vario
